Ceri Simpson BSc (Hons) Equine Science, PgDip. An.Phys.
One of the Dognasium partners and a Director of CS Animal Hydro & Physio (csanimalhydroandphysio.co.uk). She graduated from Aberystwyth University with an Honours Degree in Equine Science and gained her post-grad Physio qualification in 2014 She is an IAAT qualified Animal Physiotherapist and has run her Equine Physio and Canine Physio / hydrotherapy clinic for 2 years. She has also established and managed CS Equestrian (csequestrian.co.uk), a successful Equestrian Centre since 2008.
Ceri is a KC registered breeder who owns a pair of working Labradors that produced their first litter of pups last year. She lives with her soon-to-be husband on a farm in Bryncoch with her 4 dogs (three labs and a crazy Jack Russell) and 6 horses.

Lesley worked in the Health Service for many years as a nurse then as manager in The Welsh Healthcare Inspectorate before starting her own healthcare consultancy and training business. She left ‘human health’ behind in 2012 and is currently Co-Director of CS Animal Hydro and Physio. She has 6 dogs if her own, a rescue Labrador/Collie cross, Bryn, in his 14th year, three Yorkies, Oakley 17, Delilah 5 (home bred, loves agility), Llewelyn 3, 14 month old working Labrador, Rowan, also home bred and Bracken, a 10 month old rehomed cross JRT. She is a KC Registered breeder who has lived in Neath all her life. She now lives on a farm in Bryncoch with her husband, horses, dogs and goats.
Gemma McLoughlin BSc Zoology & MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour
Gemma is our Clinic Animal Behaviourist, she completed a bachelors degree in Zoology in 2007 and graduated in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. She first began working with dogs at the age of 16 as a kennel maid, since then she has had a number of roles in the animal industry including assistant veterinary nurse and hydrotherapy assistant. Working with animals has been a passion of hers since she was young and was always her career goals. Gemma has a keen interest in studying canine behaviour which to her setting up her own business in 2015 – Canine Gems Behaviour and Training (caninegems.co.uk). Not only does she enjoy training dogs but she also enjoys helping and educating their owners to train in a positive and force free manner allowing them to get the best from their dogs.
Rose is one of our canine physio assistants, having gained experience working at CS Animal Hydro and Physio where she continues to work one day a week. Rose was previously an assistant restaurant manager but having always loved dogs and with past experience of voluntary work at a local boarding kennels, she has found working with dogs both more rewarding and satisfying. Rose is currently studying for her Diploma in childhood and youth studies.
Lauren absolutely love dogs! She enjoys working with them discovering the wide variety of different personalities, traits and quirks. Lauren has her own dog, Balin, a chocolate Labrador who enjoys walks around the Gower as much as Lauren does.
